I used WD-40 to lubricate the springs on my extender. I did it on one of my off days, and made sure the extender was clean and oil (WD-40) free before I put it back on. It really helped the spring action.

Whatever you use for lubricating the spring chamber/springs a word of caution.

Take care not to get any slippery substance on comfort strap ridges, the noose tube, or any of the surfaces that rely upon friction to hold the (strap/noose tube) in place.

Should you have problems slipping out, check for loosening of the device you use to secure your shaft into the extender !

Hey Dangler. Welcome Back ! I was hoping that you as well as some of the other "veterans" still visited the forum. I want to say THANKS to you and to the others that still may visit from time to time. Before I ever joined the forum, and indeed before I ever started extending, I read many of your posts (along with those of TreeTop, Penox, Pudendem, and others), and received much guidance, knowledge, and inspiration from doing so. There are not as many active posters as when you guys were here, but there are a few. How is it going with you ? Have you started again after taking a break ? I hope all is well and like I said, welcome back !

Hi Dangler,

How often should we lubricate the extender?
I disassemble the swivels, and pistons and wash the plastic parts of the extender in my dishwasher once a week.

I know the ease that my extender compresses/expands, after I clean/lube it.

When I notice mine getting sticky, then I service it.

Whenever you decide, will be good, in my opinion.

How long have you been using that you have noticed a need to lubricate the Extender?

Yes. Very important to adjust the rods slowly at the same amounts. You will bend the screws if not.

I sometimes use lotion to lube myself before using the device, and I find that my fingers kind of automatically transfer some of the oils to the device.

take care when using any thing that cause you penis to become somewhat slippery; you can slip from under the (strap/tube).

You should also be checking your x4 to make sure all the bars and screw joints are tightened before each stretching session. If they are too loose the unit won't work as well and you might end up damaging it.

Not sure what that word means. But whatever means you use to lubricate, just be cautious and careful not to overuse or spill.
