When to add bars?

Post by Joshjay » Mon May 22, 2017 8:27 pm

So I'll just keep this short and simple. I think I'm ready to add another smalle bar. But I'm not sure. Can I get some experience to chime in.

Hey Joshjay. I only add more bars when I don't feel anymore tension in the extender when I strap in. I don't fiddle with the screws at all.....I just add more length.
Happy stretching
Cheers, my starting stats
BPFL= 5.0" 12.7cm
FG=4.0" 10.2cm
BPEL=7.0" 17.8cm
EG= 4.5" 11.4cm

Today I added the half inch bars and to add to the forum and progress it was a success! Piece fits very well minor slippage at first

I actually have been using the tension but am mixed emotions about it. Is there a particular reason why you would use one over the other?

The tension scroll bars can safely give you 1/8 inch, which is one-half of the length of the shortest bar.

Also, I found it easier to increase tension after the straps or noose are locked in place.

Add bars if you really feel that you need it and you don't feel any tension from your current.

I added/upgraded bars when I found myself using both the scroll bars and the base wheels to achieve the same tension. By my measurement having to do this using the two inch and 1/3 inch combined equalled just a bit less length than the 3 inch ones, so I tried it…Success!!! At this rate I plan to add the 1/3 inch sections back in about a month or two (another 80 or so hours).

I have been scrolling the tension bars to achieve a stronger tension. I may be adding more bars again because my stretched length is increasing very properly.
